SaiGon – Mekong Delta Cruise


Day 1:Sai Gon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho
The first bustling town of the Mekong Delta is My Tho, 84km from HCMC. This trip provides a look at a wide variety of the life and scenery on Vietnam river from the peaceful Delta. The huge ships, which come from many different countries moving slowly, quietly along the river is what you will see at the Saigon river when you depart. Do not miss this sight !. On the way, you will see daily activities of local people along the river, sellers and buyers bargaining, exchanging fish, the products that they got from their working on the sea. Then, hand rowing (sampans) lead us to along canal and cruise to the orchard islets where tropical fruits can be found and tasted. Roaming to the village around and observing how the people make the living from friut trees such as coconut, collect honey at local gardens. After lunch you enjoy your own time (Biking, walking to the villages or realxing on the hammock). Bus trip drive to Can Tho to check in hotel. Free time for leisure.

Day 2:Can Tho – Cai Rang – Sai Gon
This friendly, bustling city is connected to most other population centers in the Mekong Delta by a system of roads, rivers and canals. The most prominent feature of this area is the image of wholesale floating markets where buyers and sellers move around by boat, presenting typical activities of the locals living in the Mekong Delta. In the morning, cruise to Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. After stop at Can Tho City for lunch, then a bus will take us to Long Xuyen.From here, our Luxurious Boat will take us to Chau Doc..Overnight in Chau Doc

Day 3:In Chau Doc,we will enjoy climbing up Sam mountain to visit the Cavern Pagoda and view the beautiful scenery. A rowing boat will take us toa floating village and floating fish farms, landing at the village of Cham, an Islamic minority people in Vietnam. Visit the home of Cham weavers and the local mosque, where Cham children learn Arabic. Our Mekong Cruiser again back to Long xuyen , From here ,the bus back to Saigon Via at Mytho for a rest at Bonsai garden . Finish the trip about 6:30PM
